half life was created by valve and originally published by sierra. it began development in 1996 however little is known pre 1997, it finally released in 1998. the game follows the protagonist, gordon freeman, a 27yro theoretical physicist working in the black mesa research facility. after a resonance cascade occurs, xenian creatures begin to flood the earth. throughout the game gordon kills these aliens as he proves that he is a true american by being insanely good at using guns despite being a nerd. theres also the hecu who are basically marines sent to clean up the disaster aka kill everyone, and i mean everyone. gordon ends up going to xen himself, where he kills the nihilanth, the ruler of xen who despite being a giant space fetus managed to tell gordon in perfect english that hes the last or summin idc. anyways, because of this a mysterious space guy dubbed the gman (we dont know his real name lololol) offers gordon a job and he accepts bc black mesa was paying him four cent and freddo which wasnt enough for gordon and i guess gman pays more. anyways he woke up 20yrs later, combines there, meets some people, meets the goat judith mossman, destroys the citadel blah blah blah escapes city 17 yadda yadda helps stop portal storms eli dies AND THE STORY JUST ENDS THERE UNLESS YOU WANNA TAKE EPISTLE 3 AS CANON, WHICH IT ISNT!!!! also yes i summarised all of hl2 and the episodes in a sentence, ill put stuff there later, goodbye nerds.

judith mossman, the character whos only third place because she's not developed enough to be second place and male_07 is obviously in first place. backtracking to the bit about her not being developed, is she? or is the half life fandom too busy with hopium to notice her greatness? get ready for the most autistic rant youll ever see!
We are told very little about judith directly, we know she applied for the same job as gordon and is still bitter about it, likes eli, hates alyx, was working as a double agent, and thats about it. but hold on, lets put on our thinking caps and look at these points. to begin with, she is likely a similar age to what gordon wouldve been without stasis, so likely late fourties maybe earlier fifties. she hates alyx, but why? it may be because shes jealous of how close she is with eli, judith clearly sees eli as a close friend, perchance even likes him, but he probably still likes azian and thus holds alyx especially closely which judith may feel jealous of. whilst judith is clearly very stern toward alyx and even manipulative, with breen she is completely different. she speaks in a hushed, frightened tone, even when she gets angry at him she hardly raises her voice. this suggests that she is may be projecting her anger onto alyx, dealing with breen constanty and unable to let out her frustrations at how she is dismissed by him and seen as little more than a useful spy and replacement for eli once he is captured and executed. uh ummm more soren ranting about judith soon im bored update this later bye
